Good breakfast, check in staff were welcoming. Rate at eur65 for single room is high.
We liked the location at the end of our Burrens ride-thru, We liked how small the village was - no traffic to deal with. We liked the proximity to the Catholic church. Room was very, very comfortable.
We couldn't get any food at the bar after 9 pm.
The hotel is very nice and the rates were very reasonable and the location was great as we arrived by boat
There was no shampoo in the room and not enough toilet paper
Lovely location for a hotel close to nice pubs & a decent restaurant down on the harbour. Lovely comfortable room with tea & coffee making facilities.
They advertise a seafood restaurant but it looked really dismal no menus on display & when we went down there was no one in it so we chose to eat elsewhere. I think they need to revamp the restaurant as they are obviuosly losing custom from not having it up to scratch.
there was a free shuttle bus from the village to the galway races which was very useful.
It was quite oldfashions but still very nice.
Convenient hotel in Irish countryside.
The facilities and staff were outstanding. Will definitely stay here again.
1. A small washcloth in addition to towels would be welcome. 2. Only 3 channels were available on the room TV. A news cable station would be welcome. It was difficult getting a weather forecast while a hurricane was enroute.
The food, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, relaxed atmosphere,
Same liquid used as soap and shampoo - seems to be the same liquid used throughout the hotel. No soap in handbasin container during our stay.
Warmth feeling in the hotel - staff also seem happy. Good value considering location to galway
Tv in the room could have more than three channels and be bigger
Good clean hotel good bedrooms and excellent breakfast
Location, and local pubs, music, breakfast.
Atmosphere in bar missing not designed for talking in group.
Excellent bar food. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
Only one thing - the room was not serviced each day eg bed not made, tea/coffee supplies not replenished
Good atmosphere, plenty of attentive staff in attendance. Large portions of food in the bar - too much for us. But great if you're really hungry. Pleasantly situated for evening strolls by the harbour.
The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. Food was great and excellent value for the money.
There should be heating controls in the rooms, not at the reception desk.
We had stayed there before, and on our way to catch the ferry to Arran Island, it was a good overnight break location, We tried to book it earlier in the summer but it was full.
On the Friday night, after midnight (1am onwards), we were disturbed by loud talking and doors banging right under our bedroom window a number of times.
